Pine Creek Rafting Ass. 2010 Trip Itinerary

Wednesday, April 21st - Sunday, April 25th, 2010 

We are going back to the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania to celebrate our 25th Pine Creek Rafting Ass.Trip and spend a day floating down the mighty Pine Creek. Mark you calendar to go or start coming up with a lame excuse of how you can't/won't join in on the fun times with good friends.  Hope you can make it happen in 2010.  This is going to be the BEST TRIP EVER!!!

Wednesday, April 21st (bonus day for those who want to start it off early this year)

2:00PM Arrive in Philly Wednesday early enough to play 9 holes of golf at Ron Jaworski's "Running Deer Golf Club" in Pittsville, New Jersey.

7:00PM Meet at Maximillian's Tavern for the "Pre-Trip Liver Prime".

Thursday, April 22nd - Official 1st day of the Pine Creek Rafting Ass.Trip

7:00AM Meet at Craig Hobdell's for the trip start.

10:00AM Tour of the Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville, PA

2:00PM Tour of the Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine in Ashland, PA

4:00PM Visentainer's Tavern in Mt. Carmel, PA

7:00PM Historical Bloomsburg, PA

10:00PM Arrive in Wellsboro, PA and check into The Canyon Motel

Friday, April 23rd - "Rafting Day" - (depending on river level)

8:30AM Leave Hotel and head to Ansonia, PA

9:00AM Depart Pine Creek Outfitters with our gear, beer, and rafts and head down Pine Creek.

12:00AM Creekside Lunch in the Grand Canyon of PA

4:00PM Arrive at Blackwell, PA and "de-raft".

5:00PM Arrive back at Pine Creek Outfitters

6:00PM Steak Dinners at Timeless Destination in Wellsboro, PA

8:00PM Wellsboro "Bar Trek"

Saturday, April 24th - Tournament Day

10:00AM Horse shoes and Frisbee Golf at Hills Creek State Park, Wellsboro, PA

1:00PM Pool Tournament at Fred's Lobster House, Tioga, PA

6:00PM Dinner, Darts and Shuffleboard Tournament at Pine Creek Inn, Ansonia, PA

Sunday, April 25th

10:00AM Leave Wellsboro for drive back home

4:00PM Arrive back in Philly area.  Some fly out after 6PM, Some fly out the next morning.
